Genevieve Yvonne Toutain is moderately less french than the name suggests. She was born in Rhode Island, a state she often left (after all, the closest movie theatre was in the next state over). She did her undergraduate degree on top of a snowy mountain in Massachusetts, at a school you've probably never heard of. She and her graduating class of 26 had a fun time getting their BAs from their friendly liberal arts college, hers in biology and mathematics. Currently, she's at Arizona State University studying applied mathematics as it relates to biology. She attended MTBI for two consecutive summers, each time working on compartmental modeling of social dynamics: the first time, mexican immigration; the second, prostitution. As these projects suggest, she likes to remain under the radar and not stir controversy. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and making snowmen. (This is both a commentary on the lack of snow in Tempe, Arizona as well as her amount of spare time.) She peruses internet comics and has a very rational fear of Emperor Penguins.
