I received my B.S. in mathematics from the UCSB College of Creative Studies. I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at Arizona State University.  My research interests include Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems with applications to Mathematical Oncology and modeling infectious diseases.  My dissertation topic is "Modeling Evolutionary dynamics in solid and non-solid cancers".  I first came to Arizona State University with my current Ph.D. advisor, Dr. Carlos Castillo-Chavez, in 2004 when I attended MTBI.  I am currently a TA in the Department of Mathematics, and a volunteer at  a Neuro-Oncology Lab in the Barrow Neurological Institute of St. Joseph's hospital.
